Forelock & Arawak's debut album!

Produced by Paolo Baldini DubFiles, the record features several big stars of the international reggae scene like Steel Pulse, Dennis Bovell, and Juba Lion.

The love of reggae music and the celebration of Jamaican culture find their path in songs like “Raverz”, in which Arawak do not simply re-arrange one of Steel Pulse’s most popoular songs: Steel Pulse’s singer David Hinds joins Forelock & Arawak on a real reggae party.

Forelock’s unique voice is the main character of the album and explores musical territories beyond the borders of reggae in tracks like “Mother’s Blood” or “Global Backfire”, one of the most touching songs of the whole record and at the same time a harsh commentary of today’s global system.

The call upon reflection on today’s society is the topic of “A Wha We Ah Wait For”, the first single to be taken from the album, which is dedicated to all those who sit and wait instead of standing up and speaking their mind.

Forelock (real name Alfredo Puglia) was born into a musical family in Sassari, Sardinia, in 1987.His all-round love for music brought him to meet the Arawak family in 2008. Soon Forelock proved to be one of the most promising voices in the Italian reggae scene - he earned the title of “Top Singa” among the international reggae community.
